Sky Q on the Internet in the test: The best feature is not advertised at all

The approach is good, of course, like almost everything from Sky, it comes a few years too late and is technically stillborn in its current state. I don't buy a 4-core PC anymore, a 250 GB HDD or a 16x CD burners. Likewise, you don't buy an HDready TV with 720p and SDTV has long belonged on the hostorien shelf. What do I mean? You don't want to buy a device that not only isn't a little future-proof, but doesn't even meet today's standards. No UHD yet (which some have had at home since 2014) - what about HDR? Not even mentioned. And sorry, "Stereo"..? Dolby Atmos is currently establishing itself as a new sound standard after 5.1 and this is where the latter should come...?

In addition, Sky's own range of programs is now so reduced that even the Q receiver has to serve more as a stream box for apps from other rights holders, and the current claim "everything simply on Sky" really only means that you're great with several paid additional subscriptions can watch what you have been watching for years with smartTV or Android streaming devices without a rental receiver.

So: Integrate 4K HDR, Dolby Atmos and WiFi 6 and come back with a decent range of apps to choose from for only having to use one device, Sky. Understood?
