Vienna - The government's obligation to wear FFP2 respiratory masks in retail and on public transport is causing the price of the highly popular products to erode. Until recently, pharmacies charged up to eight euros per piece, but discounter Hofer now offers corona protection for 59 cents. That is a fifth of the price charged by supermarkets a week ago.
