In March of next year, Roku will limit the scope of unlicensed channels to a maximum of 20 users. It will also rebrand unlicensed channels to beta channels. This will allow companies to use private channels for their intended purpose: beta testing- Content that could eventually end up in the Roku store. Of course, the secondary effect of this change will be that the Roku porn offerings will become mostly useless.
