"Lion's Cave" 2020: Nico Rosberg succeeds Frank Thelen

Max Rongen had to give up his big dream of becoming a professional soccer player after an injury. He found his new passion in fitness and nutrition and has completed two training courses alongside school: he is a fitness trainer and nutritionist. The search for a healthy fitness bar was unsuccessful and so Max quickly invented PLANTBREAK. His baking mixes for the vegan, low-calorie fitness bars should do without any sweeteners or additives. At the age of 16, Max Rongen founded the company together with his father Ralf Rongen. PLANTBREAK is registered for him. "When I'm of legal age, the company will be transferred to my name and then I'll be the sole owner," says Max Rongen. But before that, at the age of just 17, he and his father venture into the "Lion's Den". The father-son team is looking for an experienced partner for the big roll-out. Will the young founder raise the required 50,000 euros got 20 percent of the company shares from the "lions"? "A deal would definitely turn me from student to entrepreneur," hopes Max Rongen.
