You don't have to. On the one hand, the paper certificate with the QR code can be presented, on the other hand, the yellow vaccination card is valid.

"In the end, it means I have to download the monitoring app." That bypasses the problem. There is no real data protection on smartphones. I don't want to know how many free or other "totally important and useful" apps you have on your phone that happily call home. It doesn't matter if it's an Apple or Google phone. Every conversation, every SMS, or almost every chat can be hacked. This has been well known since Snowden. Of course, if your usual activities around your smartphone are of national importance, then I strongly advise against installing another monitoring app.;-))

Why are you spreading misinformation? Today I received my 2nd vaccination at the Tempelhof vaccination center. No digital proof of vaccination can be created there! Should I go to a pharmacy about it?

Ultimately, that means I have to download the monitoring app. I don't think it's good.

Yesterday I went to a pharmacy in my neighborhood to have my vaccination card digitized. The situation was miles away from queuing or a rush. The whole action took 4 minutes, while one of the ladies was transferring my data, I loaded the Covpass app, scanned it and "off you go". Perhaps the rate of fully vaccinated people is significantly higher in other districts, but compared to all the promises and empty phrases of the last few months, this action worked smoothly.

Not correct! Read it! Fully vaccinated persons: The prerequisite is vaccination with a vaccine approved by the EMA and administration of the last vaccination dose more than two weeks ago, but no more than 8 months before the start of the trip (source: Foreign Office and other media) Well, bad luck, but it was certainly no one on the screen yet

That was IRONIEAnyone driving a car will soon no longer be checked.... https://www.europarl.europa.eu/news/de/headlines/security/20200506STO78514/covid-19-offnung-der-schengen -borders-what-can-the-eu-doMan is again making a huge fuss about something that soon nobody will talk about anymore because nobody is interested in it.

Just because the pharmacy gets 18 euros, the procedure is still not forgery-proof. A vaccination card has no security features. Anyone who has not had one receives a small index card with a sticker of the vaccination and a stamp and a signature when they are vaccinated. You can copy the sticker without any problems, stamps too and you can also get an indistinct squiggle. What are the pharmacists supposed to check for validity?!? The whole thing would only make sense if every vaccination had been registered centrally and a unique ID had been encoded in the sticker. So the whole thing is just eyewash and money printing machine for pharmacies. But it's a good thing that the DAK reports today that the coffers are empty and contributions have to increase.

How did you come up with "forgery-proof" stickers for the batch number? The first batches from BIONTECH/Comirnaty didn't come with any stickers at all; there was a reference to a link on the internet where you should download a pdf file to print the stickers yourself. And with later batches - also of other vaccines - there are usually too few stickers, for example if you get from a Ampoule BIONTECH gets seven vaccine doses instead of six...The stickers with the batch number are printed there, you can buy the right label printer...It's just more convenient for the staff in the doctor's office and easier to read...It's also not a forgery of documents, there Yes, nothing is documented that would not have taken place... The vaccination certificate or the entry in the yellow vaccination card are also valid if the batch number is entered by hand.

You are free to judge my opinion on the subject. However, your comment does nothing to change my opinion, because it is not exactly fact-heavy on the subject. What exactly do you need something like that for? I'll summarize again: From analogue available (and officially recognized vaccination documents) in connection with the associated identity card, software messes up a QR code, which is then scanned (i.e. photographed) by an app in order to then display it again. What the hell is that supposed to do? The great QR code (regardless of whether it is printed, photographed or appended) cannot be used without a personal ID, just like the "analogue" vaccination documents. So where's the advantage? There is no! Everything that has been published so far is nothing but PR babble. The whole thing only burns money, which we can use much better for meaningful things. Best regards

I can confirm the experiences with the restaurants... No question about anything... No contact details either. The same applies to Woolworth or Karstadt.... Luca App Code... nobody cares if you let them in. And one thing about the pharmacies.... some generate 2 codes for fully vaccinated... for the first and second vaccination. €18 per code ?

The recovery from a corona infection must not be more than 180 days ago. This has nothing to do with the vaccination!

Answer to [Sebastian T.] from 06/14/2021 at 15:22

In the event that theory turns into practice [;-)], I recommend watching the video for the article: https://www.rbb24.de/panorama/thema/corona/beitraege/2021/06/digitaler -vaccination-pass-vaccination-proof-app-covpass.html. There you can see in 0:01 what the certificate looks like in the app, which is then read in on site. Only the QR code, the date of the vaccination and when its validity expires are visible. Your personal details can then also be read on the reader, as they have to be compared with the ID card.

Come on, let's go with it!

Who knows, maybe there will be a dramatic turn in the second act. :-)

Answer to [AndreasX] from 06/14/2021 at 10:43

Since everything is open again and I've boarded what feels like 100 restaurants, I've noticed that I've only been asked once if I have one of the 3 G proofs, the rest just didn't give a damn. Doesn't quite belong to the topic, but keyword travel. I was blown away that the rules when entering Spain, Denmark etc are as follows: 14 days after the second vaccination (that was clear) but up to a maximum of 180 days after the second vaccination. So that means, vaccinated in March, holiday as a vaccinated person in October ...... Status of a non-vaccinated person :-( Jens, I need a third one!

Irony off or serious? Very important information, would like to be kept up to date on what is happening in the life of Ms. N from Sch * irony off *

Congratulations @Nancy! It's finally my turn on Thursday.

Your comment is unbelievably sad... It's really unfortunate when such a comment comes out with so much available and readable information. Even Mr. Spahn can't do anything about it....

Answer to [nancy richter] from 06/14/2021 at 16:07

And, is your son finally vaccinated?
